Why is the surface of my silicone mold tacky?Updated 23 days ago
Off ratio measuring and mixing, not mixing thoroughly, or extremely low humidity level can cause tackiness. If the entire mold or the surface that cured open to the air feels tacky, waiting another day before using may allow it to fully cure and eliminate the tackiness. Another trick is to simply put some baby powder or talc on the tacky surface and it will all but go away almost instantly.
