What rubbers are compatible to pour over one another?Updated 23 days ago

Tin based silicones can be poured over anything and they will cure properly. If pouring over another silicone, a rubber to rubber mold release will need to be used to prevent it from bonding. If you do not have a rubber to rubber mold release, smearing a thin layer of Vaseline every where the two halves of the silicone will touch will prevent them from bonding. Platinum silicones can only be poured over another Platinum based silicone. Again, mold release is needed to prevent the two halves from bonding. Platinum silicone can NOT be poured over a tin base silicone as it will inhibit (not cure) where ever the platinum comes in contact with the tin base silicone.
