Can I thin the resin to make it flow easier into fine recesses? What is your thinnest resin?Updated 23 days ago

The technical term for the thickness/thinness of fluids is viscosity. Viscosity is the measurement of the fluid's internal resistance to flow; this is usually designated in units of centipoise (cps). Put simply, the less viscous the fluid is, the greater its ease of movement (fluidity). There is not a chemical available for purchase to make Alumilite resins a thinner viscosity. Alumilite Casting Resins are our thinnest resins and are incredible for picking up intricate detail and curing fast with no degassing or pressure needed. The smaller the cps number, the thinner the fluid. For example, water is 1 cps, #30 motor oil is 250 cps, while honey is 10,000 cps.
