Yes. Alumilite offers a full line of dyes specially formulated for Alumilite's casting plastics and resins.. If you use an outside source of colorant or additive, make sure that the dyes/pigments are not water based. Water creates air bubbles during the cure process of the resin. Some oil-based dyes are compatible. Whenever using an unknown dye/pigment, we recommend testing a small amount before mixing larger quantities and pouring into a mold. Most powdered dyes will work if they do not contain any moisture (known as a dry filler). We also have a line of PolyColor Metallic Powders that you may use in your molds to color Alumilite resins.
